From the beginning, our mission at Steamy Lit has been to provide women romance authors of color and non-binary/genderqueer authors a platform to amplify their work while also empowering discourse around sexuality. Our ultimate goal is for you to embrace your sexuality and celebrate self-love. Steamy Lit is not only passionate about making a positive impact on your personal life but also on the world. A portion of proceeds from each box will go to an organization that supports causes we feel passionate about.

Steamy Lit is a beautiful new bookstore located in the new Thrive Art District in Fort Lauderdale. It is also nestled conveniently next to Alma Matcha, which is where I went when I saw Steamy Lit right next door. Bonus. Stopped by here after getting my matcha. Sasha was the nice bookstore extraordinaire who welcomed me and also gave me a quick guide to the store and let me know if I needed any help to give her a shout. The store has books ranging from romance, romantasy, dark fantasy and LGBTQ+ genres. They also offer monthly Steamy Lit Bookclubs and events listed on their menu board as you walk in. Tons of cool book lover gift ideas including stickers, tote bags, apparel and more. A cute idea they have is the mystery date with a book which is also called a blind book that is wrapped with clues of what to expect with that surprise book. Lovely new book store in the community. Must check it out if you’re in the neighborhood. Perfectly nestled next to a matcha spot too. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Plenty of free parking. Follow their social media for upcoming events! Support your local bookstore! The prices are fair and totally reasonable.

stopped here as an out of towner who loves books, and left with two books! love the ambiance which is an inclusive store with all kinds of authors and books in Spanish. Books offered in another language makes all the difference as accessibility to books is a need! they have a wall for blind date with a book with reasonable pricing options! I purchased a book with damage to the spine and received 10% off because as a bookish person we want our book to be perfect at purchase but understand things happen, and it made the difference to see the accommodation for the damage. I will recommend Steamy Lit to get your steamy books!

Love this new location. The space is beautiful. The bookseller working there was very helpful. I would love to spend some time there to read. They have a great selection of romance reads.

A really well done bookshop! Easy to roam around with different shelves categories be theme and good selections. Happy drove a bit out of my way for a hidden steamy gem. Gotta have an adventure sometimes and this was a good one. Now to read the too many books I got. Most excited to unwrap my blind date with a book! Cute idea and cute shop

Such a great spot for book lovers, especially those who are passionate about romance! ☺️ You can even find some books in Spanish. The decor perfectly matches the theme, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. There’s a comfy couch if you want to sit, relax, and get lost in your favorite romantic novel. They also host book presentations and clubs where you can dive into discussions about different stories. I absolutely loved the place and the staff! Frances helped me learn more about their initiative and even recommended a fiction novel based on my love for history books. It was such a nice discovery—I really hope their plan to open in Miami happens soon. Thanks for creating this wonderful space!
