We are a brick & mortar shop located between Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike. We have an old world atmosphere with many antique bookcases and library accessories as well as bookcases reaching sixteen feet high with rolling ladders. Our stock varies from $1 books in our outdoor cases to books for many thousands of dollars in our antiquarian section.

Old Florida Bookshop is an absolute gem. Prices and selection galore with literature from all over the world. You can easily spend hours browsing and still not see everything. Warm, old-school charm and stacks that invite you to slow down and wander. And don’t forget to visit the kitty 😻. A must-stop for any book lover. If you want it a touch shorter or more playful, say the word 📚✨

The Old Florida Book Shop is truly an example of don’t judge a book by its cover (sorry - had to say it - lol). The outside is a typical strip mall location with parking right in front. As you approach the entrance, you find tons of books for sale to be paid - on the honor system - for two dollars to be left in a marked box. When you enter, it is very cozy and dreamy inside. There are floor to ceiling books set in beautiful wooden bookshelves. It looks to be all preowned books from all different time frames and subject matters. Lots of reading options to choose from.

I adore this bookstore. The comforting scent of old books fills the air, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its shelves offer a delightful selection, ranging from cherished vintage editions to contemporary works. Though it can grow quite busy at times, its charm never fade! A must visit if you’re in the area or town

One of the most unique bookstores I’ve visited. With antiques scattered around and shelves reaching the ceiling, it honestly feels like stepping into a fantasy world. They have a great mix of secondhand books, old maps, foreign currency, postcards, and magazines all well organized and priced. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and the shop cat adds to the cozy vibe, usually napping or letting people pet him. I would say this is the perfect place to slow down, browse, and explore what the shop has to offer.

Absolutely gobsmacked by this place. We’ve been visiting SFL for years and never knew this existed. It was a bit overwhelming as it’s in a bit of disarray and so packed inside and out with books. Books books books and more books. It’s amazing. For a reader… well, I actually got teary. No lie. I wanted to browse and browse but alas…. time and husbands wait for no one. lol
