After almost six years in downtown Pawtucket, we have moved and have re-opened in the New London Square Plaza, 1745 Main Street, West Warwick, RI. We will miss all our friends and customers in the Pawtucket area, but we invite everyone to come visit us in our bigger, better store here in West Warwick.Stillwater Books carries titles from all your favorite authors -- from John Grisham, Clive Cussler and Stephen King to Danielle Steele, Heather Graham and Sandra Brown -- and many are priced 40, 50 or 60 percent below the original retail prices! And if you don't see what you are looking for, ask us to place a special order. We can order hundreds of thousands of additional titles, most of which will arrive in just a few days. And by the way... our used books aren't what you might expect to find in a typical used bookstore. Though some show a little wear, most are nearly as new and clean as the day they were printed -- and most are under $10! Our store is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM (and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sundays in December). In the coming months, we will feature signings and events with several local Rhode Island authors. We look forward to meeting all the booklovers in our community.

Loved this little bookstore so much! They have a great collection of both new and old books at affordable prices. 🩵 Bonus point, if you’re a book and cat lover, you might get to meet Freddy, the sweetest kitty ever! I was so happy to see him and give him some pets. The lady there was super kind too; when we asked about Freddy, she actually brought him out to say hi. I think this just became one of my favorite spots. Highly recommend!!

I can’t believe this cozy, inviting bookstore was in my backyard all this time and I didn’t know it! Well I’m certainly going to remedy that! Best of all? I got to meet the lovable mascot, Freddy (hope I spelled his name correctly)!

Super neat place with loads of books from a variety of authors including local authors which I find so cool! There are a variety of genres to choose from, and there's definitely something for everyone. There is parking available too across the street from Slater Mill if you do drive in (I provided a photo of the lot), and the staff is so friendly and helpful and I will definitely be back. Update: they are closed

I loved the selection of books they had. My favorite part of the experience was Freddie the cat! I would definitely come back here again in the future. Good prices on many books.
