Very nice selection of books for a small independent store, but wow, the woman who is the owner is extremely rude. Every time I have been in there, she doesn't make eye contact or makes snippy comments. Today I asked her if she carried a very popular book for this area (all the other bookstores and libraries have it), and before she even looked it up, she said "I doubt it". To her surprise, they did carry it but it was sold out (told you). Not recommending this store to anyone - there are plenty of terrific bookstores in Bend that are worth the drive to - with much friendlier staff.

Great bookstore. They can tell you about the books before reading. Their recommendations are informed & based on what you are hoping for. We saw an author speak while on vacation there recently which was fun & informative. The owner is passionate & gave away a lot of books. Highly recommend.

Friendly service, interesting selection with highlights of local authors. 3-D and stationary postcards were a fun and unexpected find. It was an enjoyable visit.
