Swamp Fox Bookstore

My daughter and I have had this locally owned bookstore on our list to visit for a while. We finally got there today and we wished we had gone sooner. Beautiful store with a great selection of books for all ages and genres. Even has some fun coffee cups, book marks, sticky notes, stickers, tote bags etc for sale. I am disabled and have a scooter to get around and the inside was very accessible. There is a handicapped spot out front with a ramp. Black top is a little cracked in spots so be careful if using a manual chair or cane/walker. Great place for a date as there is a cheesecake place right across the street! We will be back!

Today was my first day in the store and it was so quaint. It was very nicely laid out and a great selection. Also love their bags!!

I love my indie bookstores and Swamp Fox didn't disappoint! It's just east of the downtown Marion shops, but it's not that far off the path! And don't let the outside fool you - there is a nice selection of books and very helpful staff working at the store. I liked the setup of the store and there was no pressure in purchasing anything. There were cards under some of the books that pointed out the staff favorites. I decided to take a chance on one of the staff picks and I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend stopping by and supporting your local small bookshops!

It is an amazing indie bookstore and Teri is great at offering ideas for new books to try. I can't recommend it enough.
