The Book Bin is a locally owned and operated business that has been in the same family since 1984. Three generations currently spend their time between the Corvallis and Salem stores.The Salem store also has a feline mascot, Rose! If youre lucky, she can often be found napping in just-out-of-reach corners of the store.

Huge store with great selection. Prices are very reasonable with many used/remainder books in stock. I like to come here every once in a while to check in on what’s new. I wish they had a historical fiction section outlined

Phenomenal local bookstore. The Book Bin is a family owned business that celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2023. They are a general interest book store that has a little bit of everything. They carry new books and used books, as well as calendars, cards, and gifts. They buy used books every day by appointment.

Huge area. Huge selection. They have great titles ranging from new to old of all kinds. Found some classic paperbacks I've been wanting in fantastic condition at great prices! Staff is friendly, informative, and dedicated to helping folks.

Thought it would be a disarray of books, but really organized in sections. Was hard not to buy 50 books, because I love science and they had a really good collection. Really cute vibe and area for kids. I can’t wait to take my dad when he visits, because their collection on history.

If you ruin books with garbage stickers, you shouldn't be allowed to sell books. Sad and disappointing that this is still happening in 2026. Easily could have spent a few hundred in here but every copy I wanted had been defaced. To be clear some books are untarnished, but all the ones I was interested in were ruined. Huge bummer
