Founded in 2004, our original location was a humble stall at the Barnyard Flea Market. We opened up in Downtown Augusta on 8th street right off Broad, and a year later we moved to 1026 Broad Street in the Henry Kennedy Building. Eight years of growth saw us bursting the seams and we were fortunate enough to find space across from our friends, The New Moon Cafe, in the JB Whites Building. In 2022, it happened again and we moved down the block to our current location next to Nacho Mama's.This last move has been a tremendous joy our new space not only accommodates more books but is more open and vibrant. We continue to work on expanding the scope of our inventory and community programming and look forward to the years to come as we fulfill all the ways we imagine a bookstore is a vital part of Augusta. While we're still not quite a Tavern, we do carry zero-proof beverages and other non-alcoholic delights which you can purchase cold at the counter or buy a four-pack or bottle to take home.Finaly, we couldnt have gotten where we are without tremendous support from people in the community and hope youll join our team of readers.Sincerely,David and Gabi

This indie bookshop is so adorable, they have a fairly large selection of used & new books! The atmosphere was welcoming and I loved the overall vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

This place was great! They have a HUGE selection. The team working there was warm, friendly, helpful, and informative. I love “small town” book stores and this was one of my favorites.

Love this bookstore! It has something for all ages! New and used - seating upstairs and downstairs. It’s definitely worth taking a drive to the historic downtown Augusta, Ga. The photos tell it all.

Nice place. As you would expect, the book selection is huge. But, the shop has a nice feel and aesthetic. It feels like is has more soul than a bookstore chain.

Great selection and atmosphere. I got a vintage Modern Library anthology of enlightenment philosophy for $15.00. Good mix of old and new, popular and obscure. They also trade. Will definitely be back!
