The Bookworm is an independently owned bookstore and gift shop located in the heart of East Aurora, NY since 1986. We truly care about our customers and are told time and time again that The Bookworm is a warm, relaxing, welcoming, fun place to shop. We are still a locally, family owned and run business. We love chatting with some of our original customers (and their kids and grandkids) whom we consider dear friends . We carry new, remaindered and pre-read books along with many different gifts including a large metaphysical section.

Just a great bookstore for new and used books and very friendly folks to help you in the store. We decided to consign our new children's book "Just As Good!" and add it to the many books available in the store. Stop by and see Jen!

Such a great store. Huge selection. You can trade in books for a credit to get new ones. Lots of gifts. Super friendly staff. Love this place!

Endlessly browsable bookstore. Nicely organized and nice layout. Couldn’t be more pleased with my $25 (!!!) haul. ***Worth visiting frequently.

I had this bookstore saved in my places to visit and I went Christmas shopping in East Aurora and had to stop in and check it out. It was very organized, the people were friendly and overall had the best experience. Also grabbed some books and picked up a cute romcom book and it was signed which is one thing I love about small bookstores, you never know what you'll find. The Aqua net diaries just grabbed me by the cover as a late 80s baby I used a lot of aqua net in my life 😁
