The Gerty Museum Store is an absolute gem and the perfect place to pick up souvenirs after exploring the museum. The shop is surprisingly well-curated—every corner has something unique, from beautifully illustrated postcards and locally crafted jewelry to historical replicas and quirky art pieces inspired by the museum’s exhibits. Their best-sellers seem to be the vintage-style posters and the handcrafted miniatures of the museum’s most famous artifacts, and I can totally see why—they’re gorgeous and make perfect gifts. The staff here deserves a special shout-out. They’re incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to talk about the items in the shop. They’ll happily help you choose the right souvenir or share fun facts about the museum’s history. Speaking of history, the Gerty Museum itself is steeped in a rich past. Originally founded as a small archival center, it grew into a full cultural institution dedicated to preserving the region’s heritage—art, archaeology, and local traditions. Visitors come here not only to admire the exhibits but also to experience a sense of place, connect with the stories of the people who lived here, and appreciate the evolution of the community. Most people walk in expecting to see the museum’s famous centerpiece collections—historic artifacts, rotating art exhibits, and immersive installations—and they leave pleasantly surprised by how engaging and thoughtfully presented everything is. The museum store perfectly complements that experience by offering souvenirs that actually feel meaningful. If you’re visiting the Gerty Museum, don’t skip the store. It’s the finishing touch to a memorable trip!

The Getty Center is one of the most important tourist attractions and art centers in Los Angeles, perfect for those who appreciate art and want to enjoy breathtaking city views from above. We spent three hours there, feeling relaxed and happy. Every room was stunning, and the colorful gardens were truly delightful, making the experience even more enjoyable. You have to wait in a line to enter the store. The wait was about 10-15 minutes on the weekend. They had nice things inside, including postcards, mugs, clothes, hats, books, small statues, and more.

I fly out to the Getty Museum every year, and it never disappoints. The art and architecture are unparalleled, and the views are simply breathtaking. It's an absolute gem in Los Angeles that everyone should experience.
