The Midnight Oil Bookstore

Great book store. Wife and I went during their books by the pound event. They have all the new popular serries and everything in between. Found a few new books I didn't even know existed. I'll be adding these to my home library along with a few hobby books for wood craft.

Do you like books!? Of course you do, why else would you read this? I was recently in a neighboring town with some time to kill and wanted to peruse a local haunt for something different to read on my flight back home. What i discovered was a bevy of options that were almost too much. But luckily the staff was able to succinctly point me in the direction I was seeking. Phenomenal shop and phenomenal staff. I wish my small southern town had a place like this.

Super comfortable bookstore. Lots of good books worth exploring. The basement has some interesting collections and a place to sit for a while. Friendly and warm staff that never makes you feel rushed or pushed towards anything. You are your own adventurer, on a quest to find your next read!

Visited the bookstore last week and my daughter really enjoyed the kids area. When we back they had a burnt Bible openly displayed on a free book cart, which is definitely seemed intended as a provocative or anti-religious statement. Disappointed and won’t be back.
