I feel bad, I know this place is beloved, so I visited twice. The first time was fine, we bought a puzzle that was missing a piece (totally not the store’s fault, but when we mentioned it on our next visit, they didn’t make any attempt to help us contact the manufacturer for the missing piece or anything, not the reason for the 2 stars) The second visit was to buy a few books for a birthday, we went in a week before the party, specifically asking if the ordered books would be here by the next Saturday and they said they should be in by Tuesday or Wednesday, plenty of time. Yay! We bought a few things in store, paid our book deposits, and left happy. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday roll around. We haven’t heard anything from the store and the party is tomorrow, so we call and they say the books didn’t come in and no guess for when they will. We were able to cancel one book and move the deposit to the other, but the associate seemed annoyed that we were bummed and didn’t offer any solutions. I know local bookstores are supposed to be a treasure, but I think that should stem from helpful, honest service with a slightly personal touch. Nothing crazy, just basic human understanding, acknowledgement, and help would have gone a long way. A call on Tuesday and maybe even some other book recommendations as replacements would have been amazing and earned a 5 star rating and brand loyalty, but we received a big brand store experience at a local bookstore price point instead.

The lady that is at the counter every time I visit is super helpful and very friendly! She is always knowledgeable and has helped me multiple times to find the book I need. I love supporting local and this spot is a hidden little cozy gem that I'm so glad is close! Great selection of fantasy and romance! Highly recommend! They are not a discount store so yes they are higher prices than big box stores but they do have some discount items sometimes! Worth a look!

I love this adorable little bookshop! The space may be smaller, but there is NO shortage of options to please most any reader. The staff is always helpful and kind, and they know their books. My favorite Indie Bookseller in the Omaha area!

This shop is so cute! It isn't huge and the selection isn't as diverse as other bookstores like Barnes and Noble but don't let that deter you from going. They still have a wide selection, friendly atmosphere, and it is genuinely adorable, exactly what you want a smaller neighborhood bookstore to be, even if it isn't really in the neighborhood.
