Nestled into the northeast side of the unique Union Square, a shopping plaza populated, predominantly, by independently owned businesses, The Printed Garden offers a hand-selected assortment of new, gently used, signed, and rare books for readers of all ages. Its book club meeting room, various seating areas throughout the store, and available games also offer guests an environment of relaxation after a day of skiing, a quiet place to study, or a pleasant evening passed gaming with friends.

I was a bit disappointed coming here. Before getting to the negative, this is what I liked: Their kids' selection is great, and that's the best part of the store. Everything was priced well too and their service was amazing, enough to make me feel a little bad about posting a bad review... What I didn't like was how unorganized the store was. The books were loosely grouped by genre, but that's it. Nothing was in order - everything was just scattered randomly and it made it really tiresome to find something specific. They also didn't have an inventory system to check if they have a specific book. These are REALLY important things to have in a bookstore, but they failed there. The selection was also pretty poor and random. They had some of the big, trending books, but everything else was random or obscure. Overall, I'd recommend going to another used bookstore. This just can't compete with other bookstores in the area and is very lackluster. It's a rural bookstore in a large city.

The person running the register has always been incredibly helpful and kind. He will help source specific books if he doesn’t have a copy in store. I really love visiting this bookstore.

No words needed. This place is incredible. But to be specific, it’s an adventure every time I go. I never know what the selection is going to be, and I just get to browse until something catches my eye. And because the pricing is affordable, I never have to turn away a book on the chance I would have buyers remorse.

This bookstore is our family's favorite. The owner is so gracious and is always willing to help us find whatever book we are looking for. Highly recommend!

Called two other independent booksellers, and even checked across the county on Barnes & Noble, and the printed garden came through to get the picture book my wife needed for her classroom on Monday! Of course I had to walk away with a little more than that though, ha! Incredibly friendly staff. Will be going here for years to come.
