The Story Garden (FL)

I can’t say enough positive things about The Story Garden! My two year old and I visit almost every week for their free story time on Wednesdays and we’ve attended multiple Play Me a Story sensory classes. The owner, Megan, is a former primary teacher and it shows! The activities she plans are thoughtful and developmentally appropriate. She’s created such a welcoming environment, my daughter gives her a hug each time before we leave! And she has curated an amazing selection of children’s books that are available to purchase. I highly recommend if you have littles or if you are looking for children’s books!

We LOVE The Story Garden! My daughter is obsessed with story time. We try & make it every Wednesday we can. My son crawls all over everything & they are so understanding & nice. Great selection of books & awesome atmosphere. Next time you need a children's book instead of going on Amazon shop local & go to The Story Garden, you won't be sorry!

The Story Garden has become one of our favorite weekend spot. So thankful to have such a great bookstore in St Pete that my daughter is always excited to go to!!

We walked into this new, cute children’s bookstore this morning for story time. Megan and her husband(didn’t catch his name) were friendly while welcoming everyone into their(the owners) space. Megan read stories, sang and very interactive w/ the kiddos. They have a couple small tables w/ paper and crayons along w/ board books for the littles for entertaining while you shop. The store is adorable, I love the art work and the amazing selection of books ranging from babies to teens. Honestly my lil guy could’ve sat and read all day if I let him instead we bought a couple books. We’re looking forward to the next story time(FREE on Wednesdays at 10:15a) and other fun activities they’ll be hosting soon. It’s such an awesome addition to the ‘hood of St Pete. As far as parking, it’s limited on their residential street, so simply park on 13th/9th it was wide open and it’s a very short walk so plan ahead.
