The Unkind Raven (TN)

I did not expect what I walked into at The Unkind Raven. I was blown away by the assortment of books available, the murder mystery closet was just perfect, it was so charming. The prices were great, the smiling faces welcoming us were just the icing on top. And then to find farm fresh eggs at the check out counter?? Hands down, could not have had a better experience. Great job girls - I’m going to bring everyone I know back!

By chance found the quaint little book store. I was met by a very energetic personable young lady who was a joy to deal with. She gave me a new book to read option which I can't wait to start. I will definitely come back.

The Unkind Raven is one of the coolest places in Dandridge! Kaitlyn and Leah are SO sweet and welcoming. Each room is so different and you can tell they put so much work into it. They even have a kids area with a promise that every kiddo will leave with a book!

The Unkind Raven is one of the best bookstores I've ever visited. Set up in an old house, there is something mysterious and delightful around every corner. My wife was enamored with the "Blind Date With a Book" idea, where books are wrapped up with the covers obscured and small hints are provided. If you like, let's say, murder mysteries, then you'll like this book. There's space for gameplay (and games to play) among the insane selection of books. The Unkind Raven feels like a labyrinth of information and entertainment with hidden rooms and perhaps a secret panel somewhere. The proprietors are fun to talk with and friendly. Luna, the store cat, is adorable. The Unkind Raven is a must-visit when in Dandridge. We'll be back.
