Union Avenue Books

A wonderful independent bookstore in downtown Knoxville, this unique place is such a gem. It's got so much character, a good book selection, and plenty of other fun merchandise to browse. I found a few treasures to buy. I visited in early January, and had the opportunity to check out their Christmas clearance. The staff left customers alone, letting us browse in peace, and were very polite during checkout. Definitely a must-visit for the bookstore lovers.

Ordered a book for me and called when ready for pickup. Just had to browse! There is a good selection of calendars, puzzles and cards! Really like this bookstore!

Wonderful bookstore with a great selection of books. Strangely, book stores are becoming gift shops, but this is one that actually sells an amazing selection of great books. My favorite read all summer was one of their recommendations (The Husbands). I love too the diversity of their collection. We found a great book on Dickens, another on evolution, and a fun love story. I appreciate whoever chooses their books. They have a great eye for genuinely fascinating and fun. They do exactly what a good bookstore should do- invite you into new adventures each visit. I would trust any of their recommendations. Great place!
