A great place to find unique works. I visited during the Fringe festival for a show hosted here called 'Play in a day' and it was fantastic. Writers and Books is a literary oasis and non-profit organization supporting local creators. In waiting for my show to begin I found an eclectic assortment of books by local authors in the indie book store within, &Ampersand Books. I did not have enough time to peruse the entire store, but I definitely need to carve out time to come back, and soon.

Great local resource. Both my daughters loved the summer camps offered here! Loved their amazing Rochester Fringe Festival show.

Great classes for kids and adults. Small but comfortable performance space upstairs. Great staff, and the teachers of the classes I've taken have been top-notch. I haven't had a chance to get to the open mike nights or poetry groups, but look forward to them. Great resource for our city!
