Just the perfect bookstore! Wonderful selection of books, beautiful space, adorable dog, and an owner with obvious knowledge and passion for books. My first trip to Rockland and I always visit book shops when I travel. Bonus - I am excited to read a new book with a Maine setting (Heartwood).

A lovely bookstore! The staff member was so friendly and her love of books was evident. The store is beautifully and artfully arranged, but not sparce on books (very important IMO)! A must-visit if you are in Rockland!

Arctic Tern Bookstore is an absolute gem! Not only is it a beautifully designed space, but it also offers a thoughtfully curated selection of books and unique gifts. Whether you’re looking for the perfect present or just want to treat yourself to a new read, this bookstore has something special for everyone. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it easy to lose track of time while browsing. You’re almost guaranteed to leave with more than you planned- and that’s part of the magic! I highly recommend stopping by.
