Sherman's Books & Stationery (Boothbay Harbor)

A lovely place with great employees and great prices. The cashier was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about the area. She recommended us other enriching activities in the area and her welcoming demeanor is not easily forgotten!

What an awesome store!! The range of items from books for all ages to kitchen gadgets, stationery, that perfect greeting card, lobster socks and other fun gifts like little balsam pillows or bell buoy wind chimes. It’s easy to lose track of time. If you’re disabled, an employee can fetch a book, magazine or art supplies from the second floor (no elevator).

Wonderful and charming bookstore with all kinds of stationary items. I always make it a point to stop in here whenever I visit Boothbay Harbor. This place is a real gem for high quality memorabilia after a vist to one of my favorite towns in Maine. Don't miss stopping by for a quick visit.

This place is amazing! Emilia at the service desk upstairs was so helpful ordering the book I wanted when it turned out it wasn’t in stock at the store. The title I was looking for reminded her of a wonderful story she shared with me while we were filling out the order form. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the store itself was beautiful. It was clean, well-organized, and the selection of books, puzzles, games, and other novelty items was extensive! I can’t wait to come back.
