Bookish (WA)

This beautiful, cozy place is so great for so many things. I love coming here just for a coffee (Delicious coffee that is work the extra couple minutes you may or may not wait for it by the way), and also book club, and also events, and also wine with my friends while my kids bedazzle books. Everything Melissa touches turns to gold! And she does it all with a baby on her hip. 1,000/10 recommend!

What a beautiful indie bookstore Bookish is! The selection of literary fiction, genre fiction, and kids’ reads is thoughtfully curated, the food is tasty, and it’s a beautiful (and scenic) place to work if you need a break from the home office. Really, the chairs are comfy enough that you could write a whole essay here — maybe even a whole novel! Can’t recommend this place enough, and love the kindness and good humor of Melissa and Ryan. Melissa’s early childhood and middle-grade programming is also great for young readers!

Perfect place for a rainy Saturday morning. We ordered coffee and found several books for gift giving, and the kids enjoyed playing inside. Love the selection of unique books! Our family will keep coming back!

Such a cute shop! We enjoyed the books, the food, and the conversation with the staff. Such a lovely, noisy place to have lunch! We loved the grilled cheese options. We were just a few minutes shy of being able to order from the brunch menu which was a bummer, but the lunch was great anyway!
