Buffy's Book Boutique

A lovely local book store. I love to support local businesses. The game area & all the legos! This is a magical place. Many great gift ideas. I have one caveat: I bet if they knew my politics they would not like me. It has no bearing on their business. They were kind and helpful. If I come in showing my political views in a hat or a shirt, would they treat me the same way? I hope so. In light of this past weeks events, more than ever tolerance is a two way street.

I lovedddd this place and their attention to their customers. Very nice and greeted well when entering as well as shopping around. Though they were closing in 20-30 minutes, they still allowed me to look around without feeling rushed at all. They had the Stephen King book my husband and I are reading together while he’s on deployment, it was cheaper than Barnes and Noble which was my alt. option if they didn’t have it. It sucks that I’m 20 mins away, but it will be worth the trip for next time. They have used and new books under retail price. Loved the finished Lego sets, the mini arcade, and the children’s corner!

What a cool spot!! They have books but also Legos and cool little stickers and trinkets. Their tables are themed but also SO NICHE AND BEAUTIFUL! So many of the books have beautiful fore-edge painting done. The staff leaves reviews for books they recommend too. The art on the walls is beautiful and overall just a very cool bookstore!!

Buffy's was such a cool bookstore! A group of friends (including a toddler) & I hung out for an hour while catching up, looking through books & playing games. Definitely worth a visit!
