Great selection for a small store. Mix of new and classic titles. History, biography, YA, romance, mystery, LGBTQ+, kids books, stickers, cards, puzzles. They also partner with an organization to send donated books to prisoners, so you can buy a requested book up at the checkout desk and they take care of the rest. There is also a free little library for movies by the door!

We are so lucky to have this bookstore. The new location is terrific! Centrally located in the heart of downtown PS. An ideal spot for tourists and lucky locals. Great selection. Even better conversation with the owners and a much needed business. Thank you Best Bookstore! We love and need you.

Truly, this IS the best bookstore in Palm Springs, and all of California. It is a must visit for the book lover and casual vacationing shopper alike. So many great books and fun merchandise. The owner is the most wonderful person to chat with and is there to humbly help you with your selections. If you're looking for a book or vacation gift for yourself or your loved one back at home feeding your precious pet, this is the perfect place to find the perfect purchase.

Listen up, fellow introverts: this bookstore is an answer to our Palm Springs prayers. This wonderful little shop has the kindest staff. They asked me my favorite books and helped me find a vacation read. There was a nice selection of fiction and memoirs, with handwritten recommendations about what makes each book great. The bookstore also has comfy chairs and is a nice place to take a quiet break and read, especially because they’re open until 10 pm!

The name says it all! This store is an absolute treasure. I left with a bag full of new books that I never would have chosen for myself, but absolutely devoured before my trip to the desert was up. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and I loved that they support (and make it easy for their patrons to support) the Prisoners Literature Project.
