Busboys and Poets at 14th & V

Great cafe for food, coffee, or just a place to work. All the appetizers we got were delicious and had solid portion sizes. It was a great meal for two people, and a fun atmosphere to hang out or read

My waiter was Karis and she was phenomenal! She entertained all of my questions and was very kind. I will DEFINITELY come back to this amazing place with its AWESOME food. My vegan burger was great!

I had breakfast at Busboys and Poets on both mornings of my trip to DC and walked away extremely satisfied each time. The food was excellent across the board — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The first day I tried the Western Omelette, which was really good, and the next day I had the Chicken Chorizo Egg Wrap, which was amazing. The fruit tasted fresh, and the banana walnut muffin (served warm) was the perfect finishing touch. On top of the great food, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting for breakfast in DC!

This is a great restaurant, bookstore, bar and open mic / poetry joint with great music (mostly 90’s of course 😎) Our server, Kevin, was very pleasant and was helpful in educating us on what they are known for and what we could expect from the various menu items. Thank you Kevin. You are appreciated! The vibe was on point! What a chill place to enjoy a meal, bookstore, poetry, some computer time or just a good drink. I definitely recommend stopping in and checking the place out!
