My favorite local bookstore! A wide selection of fiction and non fiction books by Arab authors and about the Arab region. I love their children's books, cookbooks, stickers, greeting cards, and ofc pottery from Falastin. An important landmark of DC.

The most comprehensive bookstore about the Middle East (culture, history, food, politics, fiction etc) I’ve found in the US 👏 Beautiful art as well. Great space overall next to the equally beautiful Museum of the Palestinian People.

An amazing selection of books ranging from cookbooks, fiction to non fiction books by authors from the Arab world. I enjoy coming here before my volunteer shift at the Palestinian museum next door. The remodel is impressive!

An amazing collection of middle-eastern books and merchandise (pins, shirts, flags, traditional Palestinian ceramics). It’s located right next to the “Museum of the Palestinian People” so you should definitely visit both. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I also overheard them tell a different customer that they also do online shopping & shipping for people visiting from out of town.

Review based solely on my online orders. I purchased Al’Ard olive oil and a kuffiyeh. Shipping & delivery on the olive oil took a little long and it was routed incorrectly, but that isn’t on the store. The keffiyeh was shipped & delivered so quickly after my purchase. The quality is beautiful. Will definitely check out their brick & mortar store, but I highly recommend their online store as well.
