Dear Reader is an absolute ASSET to our community! Allie has given us not just a local bookstore, but also fun bookish gifts, and another spot in town where book lovers can gather for book clubs and events. She carries books that you won’t find online and she helped me locate and order a very specific book for Christmas! Support local, support women owned, support books!!!

Amazing and adorable bookstore. I absolutely love supporting small businesses, let alone owned by a woman. She was so so so helpful when I asked for some guidance on my next read. Such a pleasure to talk to. And they have the most adorable stationary ever! Will definitely be back for my next recommendation.

Finally, an woman-owned, independent bookshop in my neighborhood! I would have supported this shop just because of those two details alone, but I have to point out, Allie (the owner) is such a pleasure to visit. She exudes warmth and intelligence in equal measure, and it's so nice to walk into her store and hear her exclaim how she has the perfect recommendation for me. I highly recommend Dear Reader and look forward to more events and activities there as well.

It’s my little hideaway ! Allie the owner is so passionate about books, and her love of reading exudes from all four corners of her store … I go in here sometimes just to take a good whiff and meditate - it’s absolute zen! You have to check out this cozy nook 😍
