Great location in Northvale. Amazing selection of books and friendly service. Would return again, great prices! They also seem to host several book signings. You purchase the book here online and on book signing you enter and get you book. Depending on event, it is only book signing or will have some type of speaking engagement. Call and find out, great spot!

This is a GREAT bookstore! Not only does it have a great selection of books of all types, but it also has lots of great gift items and various accessories. The best part - the staff is courteous and efficient. Recommend highly!

I never write reviews, but my experience yesterday was frustrating and disappointing. I called ahead to let the store know I was driving quite a distance and would be arriving shortly before closing. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem and that they’d hold my book for me. When my ETA shifted, I called again out of courtesy to confirm I’d be there about five minutes before closing. Once again, I was reassured it was fine. I arrived at 5:54 PM — six minutes before their posted closing time of 6:00 PM — only to find the doors locked. After all that communication, the store had closed early anyway. When I called the next day, I was told they “sometimes close 15 minutes early if no one is inside” and that the staff member I had spoken to twice wasn’t “in charge.” I’ve been a loyal customer for years, even after moving far away, because I wanted to support this store over bigger retailers. But closing early after specifically telling a customer they could come in is unacceptable. I went out of my way to shop here instead of buying online, and this experience makes me question why I should continue doing so If a business posts a closing time, they should honor it — especially when they’ve personally assured a customer that they would.

It's a nice small, local owned bookstore. Not the same section as large stores but a more personal touch. I will definitely be back.
