Half Price Books Golden Gate

I was able to sell books and DVDs I no longer wanted quickly and without fuss. I found a ton of books in great condition to read, and the organization of the store is wonderful. I love this place, and will be back soon!

Great store with a great staff. They are always cheerful and helpful. They have a wide selection of books, movies, games, puzzles, and the like; new and used. Prices are generally lower than full priced, but can be higher than retail on some collectible items. They do offer a 10% discount for educators and run good sales regularly. For those looking to sell, HPB is not likely to offer you much. This is common when selling to a business that then needs to turn a profit on the item to run their business. So don't expect to get anywhere close to the value. Still, for things you are just looking to unload, it's a good place to sell.

Always worth a visit. Love supporting my favorite used book stores and I wish they had more locations in the area. Always find something here and the staff is always helpful.

Other than the prices being mildly outrageous for items that were pretty much donated, it's a good store. There is a gentleman who works here who has a radio voice and should most definitely get a job in t v or radio.
