Half Price Books Westport

Nice place with friendly staff and a good location. They have a good collection of books including collector's and some hard to find books. They also have a good selection of vinyl records and comics. If you have unwanted items they do buy.

The Half Price Books in Westport is always a treat. I live close but don't visit often because of how hard it can be to depart the parking lot if you turn left. But this store is my go-to for uncommon books on Judaica, Buddhism, and metaphysics. Like all HPB stores around here, they have an amazing selection of books across genres and topics. They have a nice selection of used and back-issue comic books, including issues priced at 50 cents each. Role Playing Game supplements, board and video games, movies, and music on vinyl. It's worth going just to be around the huge variety of books. I encourage everyone to visit.

I walked in the door and felt at home. for the person who craves real books instead of a digital monstrosity, this place is heaven. Awesome selection, and great layout with the sections well marked. There is a great vintage / high value section with some really cool stuff ranging from early editions to signed copies. Pricing is very reasonable. Most items come in under eBay cost! This place left my inner nerd happy!

You can always find something to read in Half Price Books. I was looking for a specific book and they did not have it at one store. They found it at another store that was on my way home. The staff is always helpful and they love their work. It is not flashy and doesn't have a coffee shop but you can find books on almost any subject.
