Under the Cover

Under the Cover always has the best events and is the first place I go for new releases! It’s such a welcoming space with amazing book lovers! One of my favorite places in KC!

This was my first time visiting and absolutely LOVED it. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help me find the perfect books! They have a HUGE selection, if you can dream of a genre or trope, they have it. I went in specifically for MLM books, which can be a bit tougher to find, and I believe the owner was the one who walked through with me for nearly an hour to find me a good selection!! They seem to work closely with local authors and other indie authors as well, while still having a great selection of popular books too. It's cozy as well, several spaces for good reading and some very pretty spots for pictures as well!! I wish I had taken pictures in the store, but for now, here's one of the books I got!!

Incredibly curated collection! I found four books from my TBR that I haven’t seen elsewhere and some other great picks! Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back!

I visited this amazing bookstore with my sister and sister-in-law for a girl's day out. The vibe here is immaculate! Everyone is so friendly and there's a genre for literally everyone! We found a couple books to buy and many more to put on our TBR lists. If you're in the KC area, and love reading, this is a great place to find all your romance books! It looks like they host events and book signings too! Can't wait to read the book I got and come back for more!
