Highland Books

LOVED everything about this book store. I’ve been searching for something just like this. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this spot. Brevard was on my spot and this bookstore came recommended from our map. It was my birthday dream day, this book store really made it special! The layout is wonderful. What I especially love is the HUGE selection, I mean they have everythinggggg. Nowadays, small bookstores have one (or select) genres. But Highland books has everything and more. If I had more time (and space) I would’ve treated myself! I ended up getting a shirt, book holder, and book mark! Loved this cool place and would love to visit again in the future. The staff was also wonderful and incredibly kind and helpful. I love the Blind data with the book section. Plus, they had author book boxes (I’ve never seen that before, very cool). And then so many recs about the shelves. I really loved the shelf with “if you loved this, then try this”. Very very fun spot! Thank you!

Lovely bookstore. Lots of variety. Warm, old feel. Friendly staff. Nice selection of stationary and book accessories like lights and bookmarks.

I feel so lucky to have Highland Books in our community. It’s the kind of independent bookstore that makes a town feel special. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They do a wonderful job bringing people together through events like the puzzle swap, which make it feel like more than just a bookstore. It’s also my go-to spot for thoughtful gifts and the best quirky wrapping paper. A true community gem and one of my favorite places to wander.

Great indie bookstore. I would visit weekly if I lived closer. Nice book selection. Friendly, helpful staff. When the book i wanted wasn't available, the clerk offered to order it for me. Fabulous selection of beautiful holiday cards at incredible prices. You can find all sorts of unique gifts for your bibliophiles. I found a small reading light priced below what I've seen online and in other stores. I use it frequently.
