Came to Frankfurt as so many people mentioned how wonderful the old town is. It didn't disappoint. Was looking forward to visiting Poor Richards, and WOW, what a magical old bookstore! Went home with several, including Easton Press leather bound ones, autographed copies, and more. The first floor is so well organized, but then you visit upstairs "Richards Attic" and OMG it is a treasure hunt in a REAL ATTIC :-) so much fun if you like books. The staff also is amazing and friendly, oh, and yes, they know books (seems obvious that they should but doesn't always happen)... looking forward to another visit soon!

Really really cute indie bookstore. Met a lady at the tiller who said she had worked there for 27 years. Wow! Got a few good books. Nice selection of books and other knick knacks. Would definitely go again next time I'm in Easley

I love to visit this lovely nostalgic bookshop. They have a well thought out kids section and a great selection of children’s books, new books, classics and even puzzles. My daughter (6) loves to talk to the staff members who enjoy both books and kids.

I’ve recently been visiting this place and I absolutely love it. They have a great variety of books and it feels packed in a cozy sort of way. I will say that their organization of books takes some time to get used to but I think it’s fun! I’m never in a rush and always like to browse when I visit. I’m trying to support local when I can afford it and each month I try to get a couple of books on my list to own at this place and I love it. There has even been a time when a copy I picked up was a little dinged and they offered me a percentage off! A must visit in the area and easily one of my favorite book stores of all time. Go for the vibes, stay for the books. The staff have always been kind and patient and helpful.

I'm sad I don't live anywhere near this place. It has a good combination of old and new. The staff is really helpful and friendly. I was able to buy what I was looking for, and place orders for what they didn't have. I wish I had a store like this back where I live.
