Howling Pages

So many amazing and unique books for fans of comics, manga, and art. Great gallery in the back that hosts cool local art shows. I love coming into the store and walking out with a stack of stuff to read.

What a great store! Chock full of indie/alternative comics from the world over. When I came in looking for a specific item which was unfortunately sold out, the proprietor offered me an even-cooler exclusive from the same artist, which was so nice. Highly recommended for the discerning comics art fan.

Yesterday, I was fortunate to visit Howling Pages for the first time after hearing so many good things about the store for years. Upon entering, I was overwhelmed by the wall to wall selection of trade paperbacks, hardcovers, indie comics, and other fantastic reading materials that are available there. Alain was a delight to chat with and has impressive knowledge about comics across the various genres that encompass the industry. I walked away from my experience with the excitement of knowing that I've got reading materials that will keep me busy for a while and will continue to enjoy again and again. It goes without saying that I will be swinging by again the next time I'm in the area.
