Lahaska Bookshop

Despite the store being quite busy—we did visit during the holiday season—our visit was so enjoyable! The store hosts a nice selection of books for all ages. You can also find stationery and a range of smaller toys and trinkets. At the cash register there were cookies and water offered to the customers. I was happy to walk out with multiple items, one of them being the recipe book pictured. If you will be visiting Peddler’s Village this season, make sure to stop by this shop!

I completely forgot to leave my review when my friends and I visited last month for my bachelorette party. This is a well-stocked, decently sized indie bookstore! Located right in the adorable Peddler's Village, the atmosphere inside and outside the shop make it a must-see location to visit. We went the first weekend of May, where Peddler's Village was holding its annual strawberry festival. All of the shops we went into had something strawberry-themed to celebrate the occasion, and Lahaska Bookshop was no exception. They had little strawberry display tables, and a selfie station with friendly strawberry cutouts. Like I said before, they are well stocked, and I had no problem locating a few books that have been on my TBR shelf. When I come visit the New Hope area again, this place is a must-visit! 🍓📚

Always love visiting the store, they have a great selection and the staff is always helpful
