Lovely Bookstore, extra large children's section with books and toys, they had adult games and crafts as well. Greeting card selection was fantastic, the quilled cards were stunning.

We only go up to Meredith once or twice a year but always manage to stop in. Great selection of books, games and gifts. Great staff and a great location on the lake. Support your local bookstore!!

I love this place! Not only does it have so many different books and genres by popular artist but they have so many cool trinkets And gifts. They have really beautiful cards, journals, Stickers, bookmarks and so much more. There’s a kids section and they sell stuffed animals and toys for kids. One of my favorite places to visit I could spend hours in there.

This place is like a smaller version of Barnes & Noble minus the cafe. It's an independent business, but has a great selection of gifts, cards, games, books, and even some accessories. While about 50-60% of it's stock is books, they have a nice variety of other quality products for visitors to choose from. And the greeting card selection is diverse in emotions as well as themes, but all the cards are great quality--specialty cards that you won't find in Target, Walmart or any of the larger chains. And that helps set them apart. The location of the shop is very near a heavy tourist area, it being part of a few buildings that a large mill used to operate out of. It's on the shores of the lake and as you can see from the photos, the fall foliage in the area is breathtaking. There are many small businesses in this area, and were it not during a pandemic, the place would have been full of young and old, from locals to travelors (it was busy, but it would have been much busier). The staff there was professional, helpful, and genuinely caring. My wife loves books, so when we're up this way again, we'll be back.
