Shop is a cute shop with a good selection of specialized books, signed books. Have some money.. its not cheap but definitely a great location for that extra special persons gift. Or yourself..

Our 1st visit to Beaufort was lovely! Beautiful waterfront with plenty of comfy benches & shaded Oak Trees for watching, reading or relaxing & a very short walk to “downtown “ with warm, friendly staffs. A go-to place for visitors & superb Antebellum Homes with beautiful history!! Also, don’t miss their “NeverMore Books - Beaufort, SC”

This is a fantastic bookstore! I didn't see the inside of their previous location, but they've done a good job moving into a new place and making it feel fun and quirky. Make sure to go all the way to the back - there's a small room with vinyl records and loads more books. And the shopkeeper is very friendly - we had a great chat even though I didn't buy a book! Definitely seek it out.

This book store is a vibe! I loved the music they were playing and all of the books. It felt cozy. Don’t miss the selection of vinyl records in the back of the store, there are some great options. We will be back next time we’re in Beaufort.

Maybe I would try it again based on the positive reviews I am reading from more recently… I am hugely into reading and have been a lifelong bookworm. I love independent bookstores and always want to support them. I was excited when I saw this store years ago, as it seemed like a unique and special bookstore with lots of personality. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with my experience there. At the time, I was in my late 20s and brought my brother and his friend in with me - who were respectful boys in their late teens. The associate seemed extremely judgy and anxious to have us present in the store, and followed us around closely like she was worried we were going to break something or do something wrong. I felt incredibly unwelcome. I have never been back.
