Out West Books

As a librarian I love to browse local bookstores as we travel. This is a lovely bookstore with the best collection I have seen of children and middle grade books in a privately owned bookstore. The owner was friendly and is well read. I highly suggest a stop at this cozy store.

My favorite shop in Grand Junction. Owned by the kindest person you’ll ever meet & has amazing staff. Support your favorite local small business!!!! Even though I live in Denver, I still think of this place all the time.

Very cute book store! Lots of new prints, very friendly staff. I didn’t have much time here but did manage to purchase a few post cards!

My Family and I have been going to Out West for books since before our son was born. We love taking trips in to find new adventures, with the help of the lovely staff. Everyone who works at Out West (Especially the wonderful owner) is helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Never be afraid to ask for help finding a book, they'll even place special orders. The layout of the store, the selection, the excellent children's section, and the warmth of the atmosphere will make you want to come back again and again.
