Park Road Books

This place is super cute, the employees are fantastic, and they have a cool selection of local authors. There were so many books you don't see just hanging out at bigger chain stores. I loved it. Extensive kids section, also.

Stumbled upon this place after having lunch at the soda shop couple doors down. What an absolute adorable place. In an era where everything seems to be digital it’s so nice when you come across an old school book store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought one book because I was in a time crunch but can’t wait to go back when I have more time to check out the selections.

They have excellent staff who read a lot and if they have not read it, they know what customers are saying. This store has author signings and supports local authors and wraps your book if it is a gift. They are the gift. I even have them order my hard to find books because I want them to stay in high demand. Books in the back for kids are pretty extensive for a smaller seller, but I feel like they curate well and I never leave without an interesting find for a gift or for me. Journals, puzzles, cards, and just fun stuff for readers. Can you tell I love this store? :)

After reading a few reviews left by others. I can’t imagine how anyone could write badly about this independent bookstore. From the moment we walked in, it was three of us by the way, employees were nice and eager to help us find a book. The owner happened to be there as well and she is super friendly!
