I visited here for the first time last summer and had such a lovely experience. The staff was welcoming and they have an amazing selection of books. Snagged some really great reads! I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area or even making a special trip and having a fun day and enjoying the town for a little bit.

Hands down one of my favorite Indie bookstores in CT with an awesome selection and pricing of books that I can't always find in your big chain stores. The staff were all so nice and welcoming and of course, had amazing recommendations #supportindiebookstores

In my top ten of bookstores across the US! Gorgeous interior with wood floors and rounded wnds to the bookshelves. Cozy yet large. The selection is incredible with plenty of book related and gift items too. Love all the tags giving you staff recommendations and thoughts on books. And upstairs is a great children/ young adult section with a cozy window seat. There is even an attached coffee shop. Highly recommend a stop!

I visited this lovely book store on Sunday March 23rd, 2025 as I was in town as I live in NY. I am so glad I found it as it was one of the few businesses open late on a Sunday and it’s so lovely! The space is very well organized and sections are easy to find and navigate! There’s always a wall with a little blurb written down about each book! I found all the books I wanted but settled for a different one that caught my eye. I was also helped as I couldn’t find a specific author and found the space with gifts and other items to be lovely. So glad places like this still exist to bring the beauty of books to the hands of those who truly appreciate them! 📚♥️
