For years I drove past Book Soup wanting to stop, mostly because I was never quite sure where to park. THERE IS FREE PARKING IN THE REAR. It’s on the sign, but easy to miss when you’re driving. From the outside it looks like a kiosk, but inside it opens up into a beautifully curated space filled with books, records, and collector items that invite wandering. This place makes me happy and is a good reminder that independent bookstores can not only survive, but thrive. Feed your mind, buy a book!

Cute bookstore. Randomly noticed it as I was walking by, so I decided To check it out. I like browsing the photography section of a bookstore, qnd they had something I was willing to purchase.

Super cute, neat bookstore! Friendly staff, wide selection of books, other items too (records, gifts, etc.). They were hosting an author event with Julia Sweeney, but I didn't stay. I would love to come back here! Cozy vibe. Also really cool that they are an independent bookstore.

We purposely visited this independent bookstore while recently in LA. They are small but actually have an incredible selection of books, gift items, vinyl records, etc. They are also friendly and helpful and if they don’t have a particular book in house, they will offer to bring one over from their sister store in Pasadena, Vroman’s. So glad we had the chance to visit & shop here.

Came here for a book signing! Super cute store! Appreciated the wall showcasing books by independent authors. They embrace the “Got to start somewhere” mentality. Very quiet with plenty of book selections and the ability to order to store for pickup. Cool little trinkets and gifts. Employees were helpful and didn’t appear rushed. Nice sidewalk board allowing others to celebrate 50 years of greatness! Cherry on TOP!!
