Very cute romance focused bookstore! Loved the variety of contemporary romance books (as well as all the colorful spines)! There's also a section in the back for fantasy and children's books, a section in front with baby books, and an adorable reading nook that has news article clippings about the owner. They also have a cute mini print machine at the front of the store, but it required quarters so I unfortunately wasn't able to try it.

This is the cutest bookshop. When you go, ask about who Annabelle is! There is a decent children's section in a neat order "dog stories" and "science" along with a selection of curated YA and coffee table books. The feel and comfort in the shop is really amazing. Every reader I have taken there has felt immediately comfortable.

EDIT: They reached out almost immediately after this post and offered me a full refund while getting to still keep my book! That was very kind of them, and what I like to call above and beyond customer service! I just hope this was used as constructive feedback to maybe start using more secure packaging when shipping! Thanks again!!! I ordered Immortal Consequences signed by the author from them. I was happy with the customer service they made sure to take care of me when I ordered. However, they knew I lived all the way in Middle Tennessee and decided to ship my signed copy in a paper bubble mailer. It arrived damaged. I wanted to contact them, but I saw they had a no return policy and I doubt they have any signed copies left for me to exchange. I figured since it was a limited edition signed copy that they would have shipped it in a box or at least with more care.

I first heard about Annabelle’s shop from the LA Festival of Books. Their booth was super cute, everything pink. I wanted to buy a book there but they had sold out so they said they could order it for me and pick it up at the store. Their brick and mortar is so cute! Annabelle has not only impeccable taste in design and vibes, but her curated selection of books is great. I plan on coming back to peruse and get my dose of ultra girly, feminine vibes. Great for instagram pics :)

Poor customer service… My experience with the Annabelle’s book club employees was horrendous. I sensed indifference and felt dismissed when I asked simple questions about product availability. My friend had a similar experience when she visited on a separate occasion. Very disappointing.
