Well-organized book store with a children's section and graphic novels. The selection of fantasy and sci-fi was BIG, there were plenty of mysteries and thrillers, and general fiction too. The romance section was SMALL. It was nice to see poetry and short stories featured.

Such a cute bookstore a block down from my house, across from my favorite natural foods grocery store. They ordered a book for me that I was looking for and it came in really fast, and they have such a wonderful whimsical selection of titles and unique gifts. Everyone that works there that I’ve interacted with has been amazing and helpful. Shop local!

This is a great place to buy LGBTQ reading material as well as many other supportive and insightful genres. Me being a guy who identifies as sapio/pan meaning I prefer someone who's good at keeping the conversation going regardless of their gender, I care more about their personality. I bought the book "Nobody in Particular" by Sophie Gonzalez, it is by far the cutest and best read I've read all year. I have a hard time putting it down and am already 230 pages in after only 3 days of reading. I highly recommend supporting this business!

A Gem by the Water Salmonberry Bookstore is pure charm wrapped in pages. Tucked inside a quaint building shared with other local shops, it feels like stumbling into a secret world made just for book lovers. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by that cozy, familiar scent of well-loved books and begging to be discovered. Shelves stacked, filled with endless options, from diverse authors ranging from hidden gems to the classics you return to again and again. It’s the kind of place where time slows down. You can wander the shelves, chat with the friendly staff who always seem to know just what you’ll love next, then step back outside, grab a hot beverage nearby, and then stroll to the waterfront, with book in hand, while enjoying the sea breeze. Salmonberry is a little coastal haven for readers, dreamers, and wanderers alike.
