First established in 1928, The Bennington Bookshop is the oldest independent bookstore in Vermont. We carry a wide range of new books, including those featured on the New England Independent Booksellers Association bestsellers list. We have an extensive children's section and stock a selection of quality cards for all occasions.

I love this little bookstore. It has a great selection, friendly staff, and they'll gift wrap for you, too! They will order books easily and they arrive when predicted. It's attached to a little coffee shop, too. Perfect!

Very cute bookshop. My daughter lives visiting book stores in every town that we go and loved this one. She was able to find a couple of nice books. Totally recommend it.

This adorable bookshop is connected to a coffee shop. Ideal setup, if you ask me. Walk through the door to be welcomed by a friendly lady behind the counter. The size of the store is small but it’s packed with books, cards, and trinkets.
