Best book store I've been to while traveling around Santa Barbara. Great mix of modern books and unique classics. Wonderful sci-fi selection!

Cool independent bookstore near the main avenue worth persuing. A wide selection of various sections. There is also a used book section as well. Set up is pretty straightforward with one level only.

10/10 Yesterday I finished Les Miserables, bought in this bookstore in January of this year. Lots of love from Argentina.

I arrived in Santa Barbara, the “American Riviera,” at the behest of Baron de Zabrus, to assist in a local production of Plastikoff’s ballet ‘Boeuf en Colère Nuit,’ impetuously translated in the English papers as ‘The Night of Angry Beef,’ a macabre work featuring a manically prancing hotdog bopping various up-start hors d'oeuvres on their heads with a pair of silver hammers. In the infamous ‘Les têtes de petite viande’ dance sequence the wrathful hotdog, in a series of precisely one-hundred grand jetés, smashes to death one-hundred bacon wrapped scallops. A sunny afternoon free of the tediousness of rehearsals found yourstruly juddling about town and wuddling into The Book Den a delicious little bookshop of new, used, and rare tomes, which possess that certain something in the air that is the absolute aroma of the gods to any lover of books. If you find yourself in this quaint little seaside city, it would be a boon to the existence to visit this marvelous bookseller.
