Adorable book store with both new and used books. They also have a bunch of fun and cute bookish items, and some cafe selections. The perfect little local bookstore!

A great little bookstore with books you won't find anywhere else! Great sci-fi and nonfiction selections. The cafe counter serves basic drip coffee (hot and iced), tea, and pastries for very reasonable prices. You can sit and read or play board games - a nice place to spend an hour or two. Will be back!

I was referred by The Looking Glass to check out The Pile Bookstore, and I’m so glad I went! It happens to be the only bookstore close to my home (about a 20-minute drive), and it’s such a hidden gem. Small, cozy, and wonderfully curated—you can really feel the care behind every book selection and thoughtfully chosen by a team that truly loves reading. Zach the BookWhisperer, made the experience extra special—super friendly, asked great questions about my reading taste, and gave amazing recommendations. If you can, definitely try to visit when Zach is there! Shoutout to the rest of the team too—they went above and beyond by putting a few books on hold for me. One title took a month to come in, but they kept me updated the entire time, which I really appreciated. I usually buy books online, but this visit reminded me how enjoyable in-person shopping can be. The whole vibe of the store and customer service makes you want to come back again. It’s actually encouraged me to shop in person more often instead of defaulting to online orders. This is the first time I brought this many books in-person. Plus, I love that they have book-themed plushies for the kids—such a fun touch! And let’s not forget: the coffee is a total bonus. I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves the love.

I am visiting from out of town and went to this small bookstore for some alone time. I adored the setting and the collection of books. The person who was there today was quite friendly and recommended a book (which I ended up buying). This bookstore also sells coffee and tea! Very excellent! And the pricing is fairly reasonable

This is a cozy bookstore that has a surprising amount of books packed into it, including used books (!). The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. I asked for a signed copy of a book to be reserved for me, and it was no problem at all! Was even able to pick up a little desert at their café while I was there. There's even some seating available if you want to read and enjoy your coffee while you're there. They also do a ton of community events, including some with the local library. A great addition to the community. Thoroughly recommend checking The Pile Bookstore out!
