I gre up in Valentine and this bookstore was my haven. I would go in there with my mom, who would tell me to only get one, I would end up with five! Eventually I grew up and had the wonderful opportunity to work here! I love this place and miss it. I will be making an order soon!

Awesome unique local bookstore. Very good customer service. If they don't have something you are looking for they can special order it for you. Glad to be apart of Valentine 💖 and to be able to support this bookstore.

A must-visit in Valentine. This fantastic locally owned bookstore ranks with the best. A well-curated section on Nebraska, the Sandhills, and Native Americans. Dozens of kids titles. Smartly designed for easy browsing. Dozens of local products and crafts on sale, including wines & delicious vinegars. Helpful local owner.

What a fun bookstore! I came up for the Nebraska Star Party and found this little gem of a bookstore in Valentine NE. I wanted to pick up a novel about pioneer(ish) women, and found “These is my Words, the Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine, 1881-1901”. They also have coffees, teas, and a great selection of children’s toys and books. Highly recommend.

Beautiful interior with options of all varieties and more than just books. Very helpful small staff who would communicate with you in kind fashion. I go here everytime I stop in Valentine and it always seems like they have something new in my interest area. Do recommend.
