The Reading Bug

Can’t believe they have real lady bugs climbing on the books! With cute decoración of mushroom and trees, were talking about 4D experience in this book shop!

A cute bookstore that seems to dedicated to little ones. We stumbled upon this book store in Downtown San Carlos. It was a great experience. My baby was being a bit grumpy and clingy, but the moment he entered this store, he got all energized again. They have a lot of merchandises for kids from books, toys to plushies, DIY kits. Some you wouldn’t see at a normal Target. I would say it was a good experience, however, some items were kinda pricey, like a small piece of mini stickers for $6. When I checked the receipt, I was taken a back. My baby wanted 2 book, but one is a flip and flap book which he already has 2 at home, so I coerced him into having stickers instead, thinking it’d be less expensive and he actually can play with. Should have gone for the book!

What a fantastic and wonderful book store geared towards children. They have tons of options to choose from. Bunch of educational toys and crafts as well. Spent good time here with our girls.

Love visiting this children’s bookstore. It just makes me happy to go there. They offer lots of storytimes and special events in their outdoor seating area. They also have (or had?) a podcast, but I haven’t listened to it. Great community spirit! There’s a side area of curated books for gown-up’s that will keep the adults entertained. My favorite part is the gift wrapping for only $1. If you’re on the way to a kid’s birthday party and forgot a gift, stop here. They’ve got you covered!
