Trail's End Bookstore

😊This is a charming bookstore 📚📜in the historic part of downtown Winthrop. It's my wife and kids favorite bookstore & a cool place to hang out for a bit to warm up or cool down depending on the season. They have a wide variety of topics & genres to suit all age groups & have a bit of a local celebrity running it! There are a few games,🃏🧩 puzzles, and hobbiest items as well for those with less of the bookworm tendencies to be entertained by and has a cool view of the river behind the store. 📸 Go check it out and get some pics! 🫡😝🦌 We hope to see it continue for all to enjoy.

Awesome bookstore which is much bigger than it appears from outside. They have a great children's area, gifts (some with a local theme), local books, nonfiction in quite a few subjects, general and genre fiction, poetry, some toys, and more. Nice selection of local books, too. We always make a point to stop into Trail's End Bookstore when we're in Winthrop. And be sure to go to the back of the store and look out the window -- there's a breathtaking view of the river.

This is seriously an incredible bookstore! Maybe the best I have ever visited! We had such a great time going through all the books, and doing the puzzle provided. We spent an hour just looking at everything! It was so much fun! They have something for the whole family there! They have couches and chairs placed throughout the building and spectacular views of the river. They also have small play areas for children. They even have a little coffee shop inside. I really enjoyed their story time corner. I also really like that they had a small area dedicated to local authors! They really have catered to every need! It is a must stop location if you visit Winthrop! You will not be disappointed. There are a few items that were overpriced, compared to online prices, We still purchased in the store though to support the local business.

This book store is very big, it’s misleading from out side. The back of the store gives you a view of the river as you read, very cozy. My wife was also surprised my their selection. If your into books and reading you have to stop and check this bookstore out. The young lady at the register was also very customer service oriented.
