Auburn Oil Co. Booksellers is proud to be downtown Auburns local independent bookstore. Located in the heart of downtown, our bookshop offers bestsellers, classics, local specialty items, cards, gifts, and novelties for book lovers. Our booksellers read first, recommend second. Our baristas love coffee just as much as they love books. And we all love stories. We believe that stories dont just come wrapped in book jackets. Sometimes theyre bottled in a wine, roasted in a bean, baked in a muffin, woven into a tea towel, or created in a moment. Thats why were more than just a bookstore.

Great bookstore that hosts tons of fun events inviting authors in which I love to see! The store itself is a cute vibe with a vast selection of numerious genres for any book lover or anyone alike just curious. Had a fun time checking things around and had some memorable moments which will definetly have be back with my family once we're back in the area. The drink menu there is fun and delicious , which to me was refreshing to see than just the standard lattes. My personal favorite was the "Pollyanna", when I went which was like an elevated Hot Cider., shoutout to Annette.

Great local bookshop! Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Selection is great. I particularly love the "blind date" section. I haven't tried the food, but like that there are some options.

Great bookstore in downtown Auburn. Staff reviews for the shelves, and the “Blind Date” section helps you find a surprising title you’ll love. Also, they have some of the funniest greeting cards!

Beautiful store with a great selection. Can’t wait to go back and try to their “Blind Date” books! I’ve been in a reading slump for the past 5 years (I kid you not). One recommendation from the staff here and I finally read more than 30 pages in one sitting (which is rare for me). I guarantee that walking out of this store with a fresh-smelling, 2025 hardback in hand will cure you of your depression. Buying online from Amazon will NEVER COMPARE
