What an amazing place. Books matter. Bookshops matter. Critical thinking matters. Knowing history matters. Knowing about, how are people live and lived matters to our collective future. Knowing about our world matters. And if any of this interests, you, you would probably be called woke in this era, but frankly, the more you know the better off you are! Thank you for being a beacon of light in this dark tunnel we’re in right now.

Superb selections: timely, timeless and witty. Downtown Montgomery across from the Greyhound station museum.

This Bookstore is a gem in Montgomery. Walking in, I immediately felt cozy and accepted. The architecture of the old building is beyond charming. It felt like witnessing the past with a progressive future. I absolutely love that there are new books with high quality vintage books! I sat in the back room on the couch and absorbed the atmosphere. It may be the romantic in me, but you can feel "hope" in this space. They are quick to help and will order books for you. Plus, they are super kind! I am looking forward to attending some events they host while I am here in Montgomery. I cannot recommend this store enough.

I try to stop in local bookstores anytime I am in a new city. This one was incredible. The man working in there that day was so knowledgeable and helpful about, not just the store, but the history of the town. I’d intended to just drop in on my way through but thanks to his help I got a history lesson and ended up visiting some of the city’s memorials and landmarks. It’s a day and experience I won’t forget. And the book selection was fire too!
