This little book shop is perfect! Love seeing the mix of new books in the front and oldies in the back. In listening to the owner talk to my husband I've come to realize he seems to know something on every genre and a very wide range of authors. My husband loves his new little collection of Zane Grey and I never find it easy making decisions but was given a book to try on my way out. Owner was very generous a knowledgeable. Would love to stop in again sometime. On chapter 4 already :)

Nice bookstore to catch while you're in town. Great guy working the register as well that is happy to help those of all ages hunt down the book they need. While we were there we watched him help out a mom and her 3 kids and talked to each child individually through the book they were about to purchase, it was very charming!

This fantastic shop has a wide range of new and used books, along with a selection of craft items, games, and puzzles. Plenty of browsing fodder and lots of gift ideas. We'll definitely be back!

Magnificent. My wife an I not only plan to stop here every time we go to the North Shore, we budget for armloads. The selection of new and used is thoughtfully curated. My wife and I both have found wonders among the Staff Picks, and I've ticked off many a "wishlist" book in the used section. The owner, Randy, a former Two Harbors librarian, is a delight to talk with - books, coffee, movies, you name it. This is a real jewel on the North Shore, and an easy one to miss if it's not on your radar. Make a point to get there and spend a little extra time getting lost in the Back Forty.

Two years ago we found this gem of a bookstore. Well curated and eclectic selection of new and used books. Owner was so knowledgeable and shared his own Edward Gorey collection with me and Clover ( think Flat Stanley). There are also local art and craft objects for purchase and good cards. This is the kind of business I like to support.
