We were in Superior visiting our daughter at UWS and decided to stop into this little bookstore. It did not disappoint! Great selection of local authors as well as new releases. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly & helpful! We will definitely be stopping here again on our next visit!

What a gem in Superior Wisconsin! This indie bookseller boasts a large but intimate location with an astounding selection of thoughtfully curated books. All categories are well represented , and their children’s and YA sections rival those of big box sellers. The store is owned by Maria Lockwood who is also a longtime journalist for the local newspaper, and knows everything about the local and surrounding community. She hosts local and national authors events. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been offered a free treat of some kind. Support this outstanding independent bookstore. You will not regret it!

Foxes & Fireflies Booksellers was delightful! They are the cutest little bookstore in an unexpected place. The clerk was sweet and helpful, they were able to look up the stores inventory and tell us instantly that they didn't currently have the book we needed but that they could get it and about how long it would take to do so. The store had games, small toys, and stickers as well as books, and everything we came across was a fair price. 10/10 would recommend and definitely going back!

Love this beautiful bookstore! There's a great local author section, the kids section is amazing and the whole place is warm and welcoming! It's a must if you're in Superior!

I took my younger two kiddos 12 & 8 to this bookstore. They both are readers and I’m learning the type of books they like. Both owners were amazing and answered all the questions. The girls asked about certain books and they didn’t have them, but they were able to order them. They ordered the books and we left with some ❤️ I’m not a reader, but I do have a favorite local author and they had some of her books and she has a book signing there this month. The knowledge, hospitality and helpfulness was a 10! We will be going back! If you haven’t visited I definitely recommend you do. Very sweet, down to earth and amazing people.
